Owner Charlie Jackson, with nearly 40 years experience as a goldsmith, started Havilah Designer Jewellers in 1996. This longstanding success can be attributed to; his critical eye that ensured that his team of goldsmiths always provide excellent quality, service and craftsmanship and the word of mouth referrals from the satisfied customers.

We service the whole of South Africa, and have many international customers, for whom we have manufactured a number of beautiful custom commissioned pieces.

We are able to ship your jewellery to you anywhere across the globe. We have officially received our export licence from SARS and ship via DHL. Our jewellery pieces are insured while in transit.

The Name Havilah

Where does the name Havilah come from? In the Bible, Genesis 2:10, it speaks of a river that flowed through the Garden of Eden. Where the river separated was a piece of land called Havilah. There was gold and precious stones there and it is said that the gold of that land was good.
